Alivia Irwin, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Alivia Irwin, LCSW, has been working with children, adolescents, and adults as a therapist since 2004, and has been working in the social services field since 1998.  She knew since she was about 12 years old that this was the work she wanted to do and was always the friend that her friends turned to for a listening ear. Believing that families and children are of the utmost importance, she works primarily from a neuroscience, attachment, and behavioral perspective, believing that we are all doing the best we know how. She loves to teach her clients new information and new ways so that they can learn, grow, and progress.  She has extensive experience in anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, ADHD, ODD, OCD, trauma, adoption, foster care issues and autism.  She has also worked with bipolar, PTSD, FAS, self-harm, suicide ideation, and addictions. She loves her work with children and with adults.

When she’s not working she loves to be with her husband and their three dogs. She is an avid reader; be careful because if you tell her you like reading she’ll ask you for recommendations. She likes art – throwing pottery, painting, and is saving up for a DSLR. She loves the outdoors, particularly the ocean – snorkeling, boogie boarding, and shell collecting, and she likes camping and mountain biking.
