Jim Essex is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Councilor with specializations in attachment, bonding, family behavior support, domestic violence, lifespan integration, and addiction counseling. Jim worked for over thirty years in supervision and management before finding his true calling in private therapy. Mr. Essex believes his business experience has given him a unique perspective in his work with his clients, namely a clearer understanding of the components necessary to lead a productive and meaningful life. As a therapist at NBCG, Jim works hard to provide a therapeutic environment that is safe and rewarding for his clients. At the heart of his practice, Mr. Essex focuses on attachments and bonding because they are at the heart of the human experience. Jim counts it a privilege to join with his clients in the serious work of repairing and enriching their human experience through examining the interplay between emotion and behavior.
